Continuing our effort to improve performance of client queries, we are implementing a similar API lookback limit on the trade and withdrawal-related endpoints starting on August 5th, 2020. This means that certain endpoints will only return the last 60 days worth of data. For example, on August 5th, a user will only be able to retrieve data from June 6th.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
As we have grown our business, the amount of data produced and made available has grown significantly. As a result, we have been making widespread capacity and performance improvement. This change will enable you to retrieve data significantly faster when querying via API. This also enables us to vastly improve settlement times.
WHAT IS AFFECTED?
The following API endpoints are affected by this limit.
- GET /trades
- GET /withdrawals/requests
Note: the following API endpoints are not affected by this limit:
- GET /trades/:trade_id
WHAT IF YOU NEED HISTORICAL DATA BEYOND THE 60-DAY LIMIT?
You can continue to retrieve all data via the portal and via reports. One-off requests may also be accommodated by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or pinging us via a shared Telegram or Slack channel. Depending on the request, it should be known that it may be rejected. If accepted, it may take 1-2 business days in order to be complete.
