Starting next Friday, July 17th, Zero Hash will be implementing an API lookback limit on all settlement-related endpoints. The lookback period will be 60 days. This means that certain endpoints will only return the last 60 days worth of data. For example, on July 17th, a user will only be able to retrieve data from May 18th.
Why are we doing this?
As we have grown our business, the amount of data produced and made available has grown significantly. As a result, we have been making widespread capacity and performance improvement. This change will enable you to retrieve data significantly faster when querying via API. This also enables us to vastly improve settlement times.
What is affected?
The following API endpoints are affected by this limit.
- GET /accounts/:account_id/run_history
- GET /accounts/:account_id/movements
- GET /deposits
What if you need historical data beyond the 60-day limit?
You can continue to retrieve all data via the portal and via reports. One-off requests may also be accommodated by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or pinging us via a shared Telegram or Slack channel. Depending on the request, it should be known that it may be rejected. If accepted, it may take 1-2 business days in order to be complete.
